Surviving your loved one
Share |

There is nothing more powerful than love. Love is stronger than death.

We are very sorry for your loss.  Your grief is a heavy burden, but you must go on.

While you may need to make changes, you don't need to make any major financial decisions right away.  Please take your time as hasty decisions are often regretted.

If your partner handled the money, it is important that you understand your financial position.

Get organized.   Take stock of all sources of income and assets.

Update your budget.  Since two live nearly as cheaply as one, unless you have sufficient assets you may need to downsize to accommodate any reduction in income.
